Starting now, Mondays at AmberSky will offer dedicated sensory-friendly hours. During these appointments, only one stylist will be in the salon with the client, creating a quieter, more relaxed space without added distractions or pressure.
These appointments are perfect for clients who:

- Need more time to warm up to the idea of a haircut
- Prefer a slower-paced, gentler experience
- Have sensory sensitivities or simply need extra patience
Our sensory-friendly stylist is exceptionally calm, patient, and understanding. Haircuts will move at the speed and comfort of the client, not the clock. We can also adjust the atmosphere—lighting, sound, and overall environment—to help each client feel at ease.
To support success, we’ve introduced new sensory-friendly tools, including:

- Velcro clips
- Gentle, adaptable techniques
